Mostly via his involvement at the Water Innovations Alliance, Jordan Lane Gilmore advises a number of start-ups in the water technology space. This involves the pitching and branding at competitions and to potential funders. He also advises on management and early stage organizational strategy. Skywell is one of those companies.
Also, Jordan served as the Chief Business Development Officer at Water Hero (and currently sits on the board) and actively looks to invest in similar water technology start-ups that tackle water access, quality and conservation issues.

Water Hero is a smart meter for your home water systems. The technology is important because it will save people water (an increasingly pressing issue in many parts of the country where water is scarce) and it helps avoid very costly damage to people's homes (in too-frequent events like leaks; the average home leaks 10k gallons per year!)
