WATER INNOVATIONS ALLIANCE
Jordan Lane Gilmore is a lobbyist and policy advisor to energy and water technology companies and trade groups. He specializes in government relations strategy for NPOs with goals to advance the clean energy economy and he spearheads a variety of industry events, conferences, workshops and forums focused on emerging technologies in the Gulf Coast, Northeast US and California. He blends his experience in former federal, state, and industry roles to build Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEP) and is committed to turning the growing issue of energy-water collisions into new business opportunity.
Mr. Gilmore has been a long-time advocate of initiatives critical to water infrastructure and economic development in Louisiana. He contributed to post-hurricane recovery projects and urban water planning as a Congressional Aide, and advised economists on the feasibility of water energy projects while an associate at the state’s energy center. In recent years, he has provided industry briefings and political landscaping for public awareness campaigns, such as the America’s Wetlands campaign, Businesses for a Clean Economy, and National Geographic’s Blue Planet Expedition which highlighted a variety of pressing water issues throughout North America.
Mr. Gilmore received his master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School where his research featured water policy and technology needs in rural and developing parts of the world. He was awarded a Harvard Asia Center grant to conduct political and water sector analysis in Singapore and he frequently travels to India with charity orgs to deploy water wells and to evaluate technology development opportunities in agrarian societies.
Jordan Lane Gilmore is a contributor to magazines, editorials and opinion features to raise awareness about national water crises, particularly when the policy and political climate reflects an openness to environmental policy change.
The Bay Street Bull is a recent example of a publication with interests in the issue of water access in Canada.
NAT GEO | ALEXANDRA COUSTEAU
Alexandra Cousteau and her team produced a documentary television series entitled "Expedition: Blue Planet" for National Geographic. Alexandra reached out to a handful of Harvard Graduate School students in planetary & environmental sciences to conduct research and support of critical water crisis around the globe. Jordan Lane Gilmore supported the team with creative assets and industry & stakeholder landscaping on a large segment of that series focused on the Mississippi River and Louisiana's downstream Dead Zone.

WATER INNOVATIONS FOUNDATION
Jordan Lane Gilmore serves on the board of the Water Innovations Alliance Foundation. He assists in the development of conferences bringing together a range of industry players. He also conducts market research and serves as an advisory to participating start-ups in the water technology sector.
GEOGRAPHICAL TOUR | MAPPING YOUR CHARITABLE FUNDS
As part of his Harvard graduate program, Jordan Lane Gilmore developed a program to increase the visibility of projects conducted by Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) and Non-Profits (NPO). Sharing this information, particularly across data platforms enables better coordination of resources between otherwise disjointed projects. Additionally, the platform provides stronger accountability to governments and other regulatory bodies as well as to a donor base.
This model has been leveraged toward rapidly growing NPOs, such as charity: water and greatly improves sustainability, monitoring and asset assessment programs.
GROUNDWATER MONITORING | SE ASIA
As part of his Harvard Graduate School thesis as well as ongoing international aid projects, Jordan Lane Gilmore partners with General Electric to produce articles educating the public on critical water technology issues and opportunities.

WATER WELL DEPLOYMENT | INDIA
While going into the field for the deployment of water technology (and even education) is something Jordan Lane Gilmore is very passionate about, he maintains that much of the technology and new methodology lessens the need for westerners’ physical presence for well deployment. I.e. the technology fully enables local communities to deploy and manage their water technology & resources. Also, in digital engagement tools, such as “Follow My Donation”, contributors are provided with significant transparency and a meaningful experience.

As part of his start-up advisory services and in particular interest to see the clean tech ecosystem grow, Jordan Lane Gilmore serves as a judge and early-stage investor for conferences, competitions and venture pitch events focused on cleantech and water tech.

A HOLY DIP | RAMESWARAM, INDIA
A beautiful young girl from northern India makes the pilgrimage to the Tamil's southernmost tip for an ocean cleanse.
JLG captured this moment on one of his trips to Southeast India where he worked with local communities and non-profits to develop new access to a higher quality of water. Aqua Vivam means Living Water, which has both a poetic and practical value to Jordan. Water is living and it is powerful, even spiritually, to many. Water is also the source of so much life, and for that reason he believes it should be a right.
